A young woman falls in love with the home-health-care nurse sent to care for her Grandmother with dementia. When the nurse mysteriously disappears, Grandma’s cuckoo clock speaks to her with a warning that Grandma might be responsible.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Lisa Jay has an extensive list of accolades that recently include 1st Runner-Up in Finish Line’s 2023 screenplay competition with her sci-fi pilot “Sedalia”, a script that scored a 9 and a 10 on the Black List.
Lisa is a Fellowship recipient for both Stowe Story Lab and StoryIncubator. She was the Grand Prize winner for Stage 32 Search for New Blood, appeared on the Bitchlist, was a quarterfinalist in Academy Nicholl,
and placed third in Cinestory, among other awards. “The Cuckoo Clock” is her directorial debut.
